January 1, 2026 Happy New Year!

Another year has come and gone, and it is naturally a time when we think about events that have happened in the past year. It is also common to think about the possibilities that 2026 may hold.

It brings to mind the song “Because he lives” It goes like this… “because He lives, I can face tomorrow – because He lives, all fear is gone – because I know he holds the future – and life is worth the living, just because He lives” One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples is found in Matthew 28:20.

He says “and so, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Let’s remember that no matter what happens, Jesus’ presence and power will be with us, helping us through whatever life may bring.

These are the events we have planned for this month…

Sunday, January 4 - Church at 10am in the sanctuary with communion.

Sunday, January 11 – Church at 10am in the sanctuary followed by a fellowship dinner. We will be cleaning the fellowship hall after we eat so anyone who can stay to help would be appreciated!

Sunday, January 18 – Church at 10am in the sanctuary.

Sunday, January 25– Church at 10am in the sanctuary. After church, we will clean the sanctuary. Anyone who can stay after and help will be greatly appreciated!
